These terms cover all Hallowed RS ("we", "us") services: the website at www.hallowedrs.com, the bingo site at bingo.hallowedrs.com, and our Discord applications (the Hallowed RS Utilities bot and the Hallowed Bingo app), together the "Services". By using any of them, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Services.
What the Services are
Hallowed RS is a free, community-run Old School RuneScape clan. The Services exist to run the clan: clan information and records on the website, points/ranks and member management through the Discord bot, and clan bingo events on the bingo site. They are a hobby project provided free of charge, not a commercial product.
The website is public, but the Discord bot and the bingo site are private, members-only services for the clan. The bot operates only in our own Discord server and is not available to add to other servers, and the bingo site requires membership of our server to sign in.
Eligibility
Hallowed RS is an 18+ community. You must be at least 18 years old (and meet Discord's own minimum age requirements) to use the Services. Using the Discord bot and the bingo site also requires being a member of the clan and its Discord server. Use of our Discord applications is also subject to Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
Accounts and access
The bingo site uses Discord sign-in, and access is limited to clan members with the appropriate Discord role. You're responsible for activity under your Discord account. Don't share access, impersonate others, or try to access events, teams, or admin tools you haven't been given access to.
Acceptable use
When using the Services, you must not:
- break any law, Discord's terms, or Jagex's rules for Old School RuneScape;
- submit content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate for the community;
- cheat in clan events, including fake or doctored screenshots, claiming others' drops, or abusing bugs in the bingo site or bot;
- abuse our infrastructure: no scraping at disruptive rates, spamming our webhooks or APIs, probing for vulnerabilities, or attempting to bypass rate limits and bans;
- misuse other members' data that you can see through the Services (e.g. RSNs, points, records).
Your content
Content you submit (bingo evidence screenshots, text, links, introductions, RSNs) remains yours. By submitting it you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to store, display, and share it within the Services and our Discord server for running the clan and its events. You confirm you have the right to submit it. We may remove any content at our discretion.
Points, ranks, and events
Clan points, ranks, records, and bingo results have no monetary value and can't be sold, traded, or redeemed. Staff decisions on points, submissions, event results, and rule interpretations are final. We may adjust or reset points and results to fix errors or address cheating.
Moderation and termination
We may suspend or remove your access to any of the Services, including the clan, the Discord server, and the bingo site, at any time, particularly for breaking these terms or community rules. Because the bot and bingo site are members-only, leaving or being removed from the clan or its Discord server ends your access to them automatically. You can stop using the Services at any time; see our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
Third-party services
The Services rely on third parties (Discord, Cloudflare, Clerk, UploadThing, Sentry, Wise Old Man, and others; see the Privacy Policy). We're not responsible for their availability or conduct, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.
Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranties of any kind. We're volunteers; things may break, go offline, or be discontinued at any time without notice. Data (points, records, submissions) may be lost. We take backups, but we don't guarantee them.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Since the Services are free, our total liability for any claim is limited to £0. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Not affiliated with Jagex or Discord
Hallowed RS is an independent fan community. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Jagex Ltd or Discord Inc. Old School RuneScape is a trademark of Jagex Ltd.
Changes
We may update these terms; we'll update this page and the date above when we do. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept the new terms.
